Machinist

Salary: $20/hr

Express Employment Professionals Paris, TX is seeking applicants for a Machinist position! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in Paris, TX that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Operate and perform general maintenance on machines

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Utilize measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and precision

• Operate automated equipment for cutting, welding, milling, turning, and other manufacturing operations

• Inspect and maintain cutting tools

• Perform minor machine maintenance (add oil, clean filters, etc.)

• Use and maintain power tools and hand tools

• Perform repetitive production operations as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow and obey all safety guidelines

• Wear required PPE, including safety glasses

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Previous machinist or manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to read and understand blueprints

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to workplace safety
