We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Olathe, KS. This position requires experience operating both reach truck and cherry pickers forklifts in a warehouse environment. Work Hours: Monday – Friday,9:00am-5:30pm

 

Position Summary:

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and staging materials using both reach trucks and cherry pickers forklifts. Your precision, efficiency, and adherence to safety procedures will help ensure smooth warehouse operations.

 

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

• Operate reach trucks and cherry pickers forklifts safely and efficiently.

• Load and unload trucks, move materials, and stock inventory.

• Pick and stage orders according to shipping schedules.

• Perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and protocols.

• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain.

• At least 1 year of experience operating both sit-down and reach trucks.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in forklift operation and safety procedures.

• Familiarity with inventory systems and order fulfillment processes.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular lifting, standing, bending, and operation of forklifts. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

 

Internal and External Interaction:

This role involves regular interaction with warehouse staff, supervisors, and shipping personnel to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
