Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Chemical Operators for a manufacturing and production facility. This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay and multiple shift options.

We are seeking dependable candidates with prior experience working in a chemical or industrial production environment who are comfortable handling raw materials, monitoring processes, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

As a Chemical Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment.
Measuring, weighing, and mixing raw materials according to batch specifications.
Loading and unloading materials, including bulk containers and drums.
Monitoring production processes to ensure quality and consistency.
Recording batch data and maintaining accurate documentation.
Performing routine equipment checks and reporting maintenance issues.
Following SDS guidelines and all chemical safety procedures.
Wearing required PPE and adhering to plant safety standards.
Assisting with material handling and production support as needed.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Prior chemical manufacturing or industrial production experience required.
Ability to follow detailed batch instructions and safety procedures.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Reliable attendance and consistent work history preferred.
Safety-focused mindset and ability to follow compliance regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of chemical handling and production processes.
Familiarity with SDS documentation and PPE requirements.
Basic mechanical aptitude for monitoring equipment.
Experience with industrial mixing, batching, or blending.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Shifts & Hours

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Full-Time
Overtime may be available based on production needs

Pay & Benefits

$18.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience.
Weekly pay through Express Employment Professionals.
