Operations Associate – Afternoon Shifts

Location: Guelph, ON
Pay: $18.50/hour to start – $20.80/hour after hire-on

Schedule

Monday to Friday
Afternoon Shift: 3:15 PM – 11:15 PM

Please Note: This position is currently scheduled for afternoons; however, candidates must be flexible and available to work day shifts (7:15 AM – 3:15 PM) should business needs change, schedules expand, or operational requirements require a shift adjustment.

Express Employment Professionals – Guelph has partnered with an amazing company in Guelph to fill multiple Operations Associate positions.

This is a potential evaluation-to-hire opportunity for the right fit. Successful candidates will work in a physically demanding, fast-paced production environment supporting the washing, sanitizing, sorting, and palletizing of plastic produce crates for shipment. The role involves consistent movement throughout the shift, working across multiple production lines, and maintaining productivity in a team-oriented environment while following all established safety procedures.

This position requires dependable, adaptable individuals who can maintain a steady and safe work pace in a repetitive environment. There is a strong opportunity for long-term employment and wage progression following the successful completion of the evaluation period.

Job Duties

• Wash and sanitize plastic produce crates
• Palletize crates on multiple production lines
• Sort and stack crates
• Unload trucks
• Unpack, wrap, and repack products for shipment
• Visually identify and separate different crate sizes
• Maintain a safe, consistent, and productive work pace
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Strong attendance and reliability
• Steel-toe safety footwear required
• Must be flexible to work day shifts if operational requirements change
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work across multiple production lines
• Physically capable of repetitive work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to completing the full scheduled shift ("no walk-off" commitment)
