Sports Card Processing and Mail Room Clerk

Express Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge is currently seeking candidates for a Sports Card Processing & Mail Room Clerk position for our trusted local sports card company.

Job Type: Full-Time (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM; may work later depending on workload. Schedule includes 3 weekdays and weekends)
Pay: $15–$16/hour BOE
Position Type: Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong sports knowledge interested in working in a fast-paced sports card processing and fulfillment environment. This position requires the ability to quickly and accurately identify teams and players, handle valuable merchandise with care, and maintain consistent productivity throughout long shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort sports cards by team and player with speed and accuracy
Prepare and package cards for shipment
Print shipping labels and scan necessary paperwork
Maintain organized workflow and assist with inventory organization
Perform mailroom operations and fulfillment duties
Complete light housekeeping and workspace upkeep
Stand for extended periods while performing repetitive hand movements
Lift and move boxes up to 30 lbs as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Strong sports knowledge (mandatory requirement)
Previous experience in mailroom operations, fulfillment, warehouse work, or other fast-paced environments preferred
Ability to stand for long periods and work at a steady pace
Basic computer skills (printing labels, scanning documents)
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
Dependable and punctual
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Able to work long shifts without losing accuracy
Trustworthy when handling valuable merchandise
Team-oriented but able to work independently
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
