Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and physically capable Furniture Loader/Unloader to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading furniture items from delivery trucks, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload furniture items from delivery trucks.
• Inspect furniture for any damages or defects upon unloading.
• Use appropriate equipment (e.g., dollies, pallet jacks) to move heavy items safely.
• Ensure furniture is properly secured and protected during transport.
• Maintain a clean and organized loading dock and warehouse area.
• Assist with inventory management and organization.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 75 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
