2nd Shift - General Labor

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $16.50 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and efficient candidates for a General Labor position with a Local Food Manufacturing Plant. This position will pay $16.50 per hour, and the hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00AM-6:30PM.

Responsibilities:

• Setup equipment such as turntable and conveyor
• Inspect bottles/jars to have seal, label and code date
• Place products in boxes; close flaps; palletize; wrap, band, secure pallets
• Collaborate with warehouse associates to coordinate material movement and maintain workflow efficiency
• Verify finished goods against orders, packing lists, and system data for accuracy
• Keep production area clean
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Has High School Diploma or GED
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. 
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food manufacturing industry in processing
• Knowledge: basic mathematics-addition, subtraction, multiplication
• Possess: Communication skills verbal and written, reading comprehension, active listening, problem solving, coordination, service orientation, multitasking
• Able to speak Spanish is a plus
