Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting overall shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate has prior forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or cherry picker forklifts safely and efficiently

• Load and unload trucks while preventing product damage

• Move materials to designated storage areas

• Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment

• Utilize RF scanners or warehouse management systems for inventory tracking

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications

• 1+ year of forklift experience preferred

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse setting

• Standing, bending, lifting, and operating equipment for extended periods

• May work in varying temperature conditions

1st shift 8am-4:30pm
