The Facilities Assistant is responsible for ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and well maintained while also providing light administrative support to Human Resources, the CEO, and Marketing. This role requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Duties may change as needed.
Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing
Use critical thinking to solve facility-related issues
Organize and prioritize daily tasks
Identify, address, and resolve facility maintenance needs efficiently and cost-effectively
Stock and maintain supply rooms and break rooms
Monitor and manage facility supply inventory
Run off-site errands as needed
Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and typing
Assist with event and activity planning
Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing short heights, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs (with assistance as needed)
Monitor the facility for maintenance or safety concerns
Resolve minor issues such as restocking supplies or marking hazards
Coordinate with maintenance vendors (cleaning, plumbing, HVAC, carpet, etc.)
Maintain and order office, facility, and break room supplies
Keep supply areas organized and fully stocked
Fulfill internal office supply requests
Make supply runs to outside vendors (Costco, Publix, etc.)
Track facility and supply-related expenses
Assist with planning and executing employee events (often with the Fun Committee)
Support Marketing with occasional project tasks
Provide administrative support including scanning, filing, time clock updates, and HR recruitment tasks
Maintain cost-effective practices related to facility operations
Perform other duties as assigned
