Position Summary

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with local and national codes. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and control systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics

• Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers

• Identify electrical problems using testing devices

• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures

• Ensure installations meet local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards

• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections

• Maintain accurate records of work performed

• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and team members

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid electrician license (Journeyman or Master, depending on role)

• 2+ years of electrical experience (adjust based on your needs)

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces

Preferred:

• Completion of apprenticeship program

• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial environments

• Strong understanding of NEC codes

• Experience with generators, panels, or control systems
