The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.
Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems
Perform routine maintenance and inspections
Diagnose and repair system issues efficiently and accurately
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Test systems for proper functionality and compliance
Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal codes
Communicate clearly with customers regarding services and recommendations
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Follow all company safety standards and procedures
Required:
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of HVAC experience (preferred but adjustable based on needs)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
EPA Certification (Universal or Type II)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
Preferred:
HVAC certification from a technical/trade school
NATE certification
Experience with residential and/or commercial systems
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
