Overview:

Our client is a globally integrated processor and distributor of industrial materials, known for safety, stability, and long-term career opportunities. As their Waterdown facility continues to grow, they are looking for reliable, safety-driven Forklift Operator / Production Labourers to support warehouse, production, and material handling operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment with a mix of forklift operation, manufacturing equipment, and general labour duties — no two days are the same.

Available Shifts

• Day Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00am–2:30pm
• Afternoon Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:30pm–10:00pm
• Night Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 10:00pm–6:00am

Here is What You Will Be Doing

• Operate forklifts, front-end loaders, and scissor lifts to move materials safely and efficiently
• Operate manufacturing and processing equipment (continuous flow systems – training provided)
• Load and unload trucks while following safe material handling practices
• Pick and verify orders using a warehouse management system
• Monitor product quality, collect samples, and analyze finished product according to quality procedures
• Identify product inconsistencies and make process adjustments as required
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues (mechanical, electrical, or control-related) and correct efficiently
• Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections and services
• Complete wear-part maintenance and screen replacements
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and follow all safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with a supportive operations team to keep production running smoothly

Are you Qualified?

• Valid 3rd-party forklift licence with hands-on operating experience
• Previous experience operating forklifts, loaders, and scissor lifts is preferred
• Experience in manufacturing, processing, warehouse, or industrial environments
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical or process-related issues
• Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn new equipment and systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented

• Standing for long periods of time
• Lifting up to and including 50 lbs
• Bending, twisting, pushing and pulling
• Being in the elements at time (winter = colder & Summer = hotter environment)
