Overview

The Manufacturing Associate supports PCB-A production and integrated box-build operations, contributing directly to the assembly, testing, and packaging of high-reliability electronic products. This role performs hands-on assembly of LED modules, power electronics, and complete electronic subsystems used in Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, and Medical applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a structured manufacturing environment with ESD and regulatory controls.

 

Key Responsibilities

PCB-A & Electronics Assembly

• Perform hand soldering of through-hole and SMT components (as trained)

• Assemble and inspect PCB-A units according to work instructions

• Assist with conformal coating, cleaning, and board preparation processes

• Support machine setup and line changeovers under supervision

 

Box Build & Subsystem Integration

• Assemble enclosures, mechanical components, and integrated subsystems

• Perform wire harness preparation, crimping, routing, and connector installation

• Execute torque-controlled fastening and hardware installation

• Support potting, sealing, labeling, and final packaging

• Assist in functional testing and basic electrical verification

 

Production & Quality Support

• Stage materials and perform kitting for production runs

• Maintain ESD compliance and follow IPC workmanship standards

• Record production data and follow traceability procedures

• Identify defects and escalate quality concerns

• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles

 

Requirements

• 1–3 years experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly preferred

• Basic soldering skills (IPC certification a plus)

• Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly drawings

• Comfortable using hand tools, torque drivers, and crimp tools

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in PCB-A or box-build environments

• Familiarity with ESD protocols

• Experience working under ISO or regulated manufacturing systems
