Overview

A leading manufacturer specializing in Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Assembly. We are looking for an Electronic QC Assembly Inspector to join our team and support various production activities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

PCB-A & Electronics Assembly

· Under 10X Magnification lamp - Visual Inspection of PCBs and PCBAs for solder quality and overall workmanship to meet IPC-A-610 Class 2 type,

· Ability to measure and inspect under a microscope.

· Testing of PCBAs according to the specs.

· Preparation of First Article Reports and support manufacturing priorities.

· Inspection of all off the shelf purchased products pertaining to the approved part list.

· Inspection of Incoming, In process activities (Kits, First Article & Final Quality Control) traveler sign off.

· Works closely with manufacturing and performs other duties as assigned by the manager.

 

 

 

Requirements

· 0-2 years working experience in PCB and/or PCBA inspection.

· Have working knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS.

· Familiar with IPC-A-610.

· Be able to read and interpret engineering drawing and bill of materials.

· Computer skills and work with Microsoft word & excel.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in PCB-A or box-build environments

• Familiarity with ESD protocols

• Experience working under ISO or regulated manufacturing systems
