We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in a dermatology clinic setting, providing direct patient care and clinical support.

Job Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and assist with basic physical assessments under the supervision of an RN or physician.

• Administer prescribed medications and injections and monitor patients for potential side effects.

• Accurately document all treatments and clinical services provided.

• Assist with minor dermatology procedures, including wound care, specimen collection, immunizations, and dressing changes.

• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care instructions.

• Reinforce provider treatment plans and clinical guidance.

• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record system.

• Communicate and coordinate patient information with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff.

Required Qualifications

• Active Mississippi LPN License

• Minimum of 6 months of clinical nursing experience required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – hands-on certification required

• Current TB test

Preferred Experience

• Clinic nursing experience

• Dermatology, medical office, or outpatient care experience

• Patient education and procedure assistance experience
