We are seeking dependable and motivated Kitchen Workers to join our team supporting meal service for a sorority at Mississippi State University. This is a great opportunity for individuals with food‑service experience who enjoy working in a team‑oriented environment and contributing to a positive dining experience for students.

Position Details

• Pay: $14–$15 per hour, depending on experience
• Schedule:
  • Monday–Thursday: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
• Hours: Full‑time, 40 hours per week
• Duration: 8‑week summer assignment
• Benefits: No benefits offered for this temporary summer role

About the Role

Kitchen Workers will support daily food preparation and dining room operations for sorority meal service. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on position that requires reliability, teamwork, and strong attention to cleanliness and hospitality.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in the food industry, catering, or serving
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting
• Dependability and strong work ethic
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining area

Key Responsibilities

• Wipe down and clean tables after breakfast service
• Dust‑mop the dining room and serving line areas
• Assist cooks with preparation for lunch and dinner
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment
• Vacuum dining areas as needed
• Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the work environment
