Unload cement from railcars, store product, and load trucks for distribution

Process documentation including invoices, bills of lading, CODs, weight tickets, load-out tickets, railcar orders, and supply orders

Track and trace railcars and cement shipments

Communicate with railroad personnel, truck drivers, customers, sales teams, vendors, and order centers to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery

Position and block railcars using track mobile; set brakes and spot cars
-
Operate spouts, chutes, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and elevators to move materials
-
Open valves and hopper doors; adjust dampers to maintain proper material flow
-
Scrape residual cement from railcars using a 16’ T-handled pole
-
Collect cement samples and maintain inventory records
-
Lift and position vibrators into railcar pockets (requires lifting, bending, crawling)
-
Monitor pressure gauges and adjust valves to maintain specified pumping pressure
-
Record identifying information such as car weight, volume, and load counts
-
Perform maintenance and repair of equipment including valves, augers, compressors, vibrators, dust collectors, hydraulic cylinders, and related machinery

Perform welding and operate cutting torches for repairs
-
Operate forklift, track mobile, and other mobile terminal equipment

Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend solutions

Transfer to other terminals as needed to provide operational support

Perform general housekeeping and grounds maintenance
-
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all company safety policies

Promote continuous improvement, time management, and root cause problem-solving
