Quality Testing Technicians

Located in Meadows of Dan, VA

We are now hiring Quality Testing Technicians in Meadows of Dan.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Perform various types of testing and inspections on all flexible die products using granite/poly surface plates with indicator stands, test machines, creasing machines, micrometers, calipers, and other types of check gauges.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Proofread paperwork and check material specifications versus customer materials when supplied
· Set up and run a test machine
· Perform inspections of cut quality, liner strikes / several quality checks on tools
· Perform final clearance checks on tools using indicators on stands when indicated
· Update transactions using Oracle and WIP mover programs on the computers
· Other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives

· Must have strong communication skills
· Ability to assimilate and retain quickly a variety of information pertaining to several products
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Knowledge of basic math skills
· Must be able to pay close attention to details
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Must work well under pressure
· Ability to work well with others
· Ability to work well in a team environment
· Basic skill level of computers
