Maintenance Technician – Lakeside Resort

Location:Pittsburg TX
Reports To: Facilities/Maintenance Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Position Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our lakeside resort running smoothly, safely, and beautifully. This role is responsible for maintaining guest rooms, cabins, common areas, grounds, and waterfront facilities. If you’re the type who fixes it before someone notices it’s broken, we want you.

This isn’t a “sit in the shop” job. You’ll be out on the property, solving problems, keeping things safe, and making sure guests have a five-star experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, cabins, docks, and common areas

  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

  • Maintain pools, hot tubs, and waterfront equipment (if applicable)

  • Inspect and repair docks, piers, boats, and outdoor structures

  • Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner

  • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime

  • Maintain landscaping equipment and assist with grounds upkeep

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and resort policies

  • Assist with seasonal property preparation (storm prep, winterization, etc.)

  • Respond quickly to emergency maintenance situations

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of general maintenance experience (hospitality or resort experience preferred)

  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems

  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and think on your feet

  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
