1st Shift Shipping & Receiving Specialist

 

Our client, a long-standing leader in electronic soft-tip darts and interactive entertainment products, is looking to add a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to their growing team. This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics ensuring accurate processing of shipments, timely preparation of orders, proper inventory control, and efficient movement of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position works Mon-Fri 7:30AM-4PM and pay is $19-$20 depending on experience. Job Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and package outgoing shipment of dart boards and related parts, including label creation and arrangement of carrier transportation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits (To-be-coming).
• Inspect shipments for damage, discrepancies, or defects and report any issues to management.
• Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and resolve any shipping or inventory-related issues.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ Years of experience in shipping, receiving or warehouse operations. 
• Familiarity with hipping and receiving procedures, including proper handling and storage of materials. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
