Express Employment Professionals in San Bernardino is currently seeking a Maintenance / Sanitation Assistant for a full-time opportunity with a reputable logistics/food manafacturing facility in Rialto, CA. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals with AIB/SQF experience who are committed to maintaining high sanitation, safety, and quality standards.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning and facility inspections
Maintain janitorial and sanitation records required for AIB/SQF inspections
Ensure facility housekeeping meets AIB/SQF standards at all times
Participate in AIB/SQF inspections under supervision or SQF Practitioner guidance
Inspect equipment and supplies including debris blower/vacuum, scrubber, power-washer, snow plow/blower, pallet jack, forklift, and cleaning chemicals
Assist with loading and unloading; count and verify supplies, records, and pallets
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency
Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and customer service standards
2–3 years of sanitation experience required
AIB/SQF experience required
Knowledge of AIB/SQF standards and regulations
Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, scrubber, power-washer, debris blower/vacuum, and snow plow/blower
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Basic math skills required
Ability to write legibly and maintain accurate records
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to teamwork
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Team-oriented and action-driven individual
