The Operations Manager is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 
organization and its departments, including operational decision-making. This role ensures 
the business functions without operational bottlenecks that cost valuable time and money. 
At its core, the Operations Manager ensures that key processes and practices are 
implemented effectively throughout the organization. 
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, 
enforcing accountability, and ensuring structured execution across all departments. The 
ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments such as warehouse 
operations, logistics, manufacturing, construction, or military leadership. 


Core Responsibilities 
 Develop, implement, and review operational processes and procedures across the 
organization 
 Identify quality control issues and implement corrective solutions 
 Drive improved customer satisfaction and cost reduction initiatives 
 Oversee daily delivery operations and route execution 
 Manage and hold drivers, dispatchers, and fleet team accountable 
 Recruit, train, discipline, and when necessary terminate employees 
 Monitor daily time punches and labor efficiency 
 Deep dive performance data to identify reporting errors, trends, and opportunities 
 Audit Work Summary Tool and operational reporting systems 
 Predict metrics and mitigate potential misses ahead of time 
 Coordinate with fleet to ensure vehicle readiness and minimize downtime 
 Assist in budgeting and operational planning 
 Ensure compliance with Program Agreement and applicable regulations 
 Communicate operational expectations from ownership to staff 
 Maintain responsive communication with Amazon personnel 

Technical Proficiency Expectations: 
 Delegate tasks efficiently and confidently 
 Schedule to maximize operational efficiency 
 Oversee performance of delivery associates, driver trainers, dispatchers, and fleet 
management 
 Accept responsibility for subordinates and implement improvement processes 
 Make decisive leadership decisions that protect the bottom line 
 Be comfortable operating in ambiguity while making clear, structured decisions 
 Raise daily operational standards to drive growth 
 Maintain strong documentation and reporting discipline
