Position Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. This role supports the Executive Housekeeper in leading the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a luxury resort environment.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of room attendants and housepersons

• Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and brand standards are met

• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and service standards

• Monitor room status updates and coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance

• Ensure timely room turnovers and readiness for arrivals

• Address guest concerns or special requests promptly and professionally

• Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities

• Enforce safety procedures and proper chemical handling

• Assist with scheduling, payroll reporting, and performance evaluations

• Step in to clean rooms or public areas when operationally necessary

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 2+ years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred

• English or spanish required for the role
