Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk Location: Dallas, TX 75220 Pay: $16.50/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Hire
We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, receiving incoming deliveries, and maintaining organized inventory to ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
Prepare, package, and stage outgoing shipments for pickup or delivery
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition
Document and report damaged or missing items
Organize and stock inventory for easy retrieval and order fulfillment
Review daily shipping and receiving schedules to maintain workflow
Enter basic shipment and inventory information into computer systems
Label, tag, and store materials in proper warehouse locations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Work with warehouse team members to meet daily shipping deadlines
Previous shipping and/or receiving experience required
Basic computer skills (data entry, email, or inventory systems)
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving materials (up to 40–50 lbs)
Bending, reaching, and handling boxes and inventory
