Machine Operator

·         Orchard Park NY,  Not on a bus route

·         1^st shift 5am-3:30pm

·         2^nd shift 3:15pm-1:45am

·         $18-$20 per hour

Job Duties include:

• Machine Operation: Operating industrial machinery, loading raw materials, and unloading finished products.
• Setup and Adjustment: Setting up machines according to work orders and adjusting controls to improve performance or during product changeovers.
• Maintenance: Performing routine inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving operational issues or escalating to maintenance technicians when necessary.
• Quality Control: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specifications and documenting production data.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to health, safety, and PPE regulations.

 

Requirements include:

• Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of machine components and functionality.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in monitoring settings and checking product quality.
• Communication: Ability to work in a team and report issues to supervisors
