Accounting Specialist - Temp To Hire
Schaumburg, IL
Full-Time | Monday–Friday 

Our staffing agency is partnering with a small manufacturing company in Schaumburg, IL seeking a hands-on Accounting Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a smaller office environment where you can take ownership of accounting functions and be a key part of the team.

We are not seeking a CPA-level candidate — this role is ideal for someone with strong practical accounting experience, especially in AP/AR, and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Process vendor invoices and customer billing
• Reconcile accounts and assist with general ledger entries
• Support month-end closing activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Prepare reports using Excel
• Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience a plus)
• Strong AP/AR background
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles
• Fluent in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, reporting)
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work independently in a small team setting
• Korean language skills are a plus (not required)
