This position involves installing and servicing heavy iron doors and frames in commercial and industrial settings while ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, assemble, fit, and secure heavy iron doors and frames
• Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and fully functional
• Remove and replace existing doors and frames
• Prepare door openings for proper installation
• Use welding equipment, power tools, and appropriate fasteners
• Install door hardware including hinges, closers, locks, and panic devices
• Follow all safety regulations and building codes
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members on job progress

Qualifications:

• Experience with commercial door installation or metal/iron work preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements
• Proficient with welding tools and general construction equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
