Our client company is seeking Fabricators.

 

Job Summary:
Perform production processes that require entry-level fabrication skills

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn the processes, procedures, and techniques required to assume duties and responsibilities of Fabricator
Learn entry-level fabrication techniques, and the operation of manual lathes, automated equipment, manual or electronic test and inspection tools
Learn proper use of oxygen/ propane torches
Follow published Work Instructions and Procedures
Inspection and Testing of fabrications using required tools, fixtures and gages
Observe, recognize and promote safe shop practices
Record keeping in either written or electronic format

Minimum Requirements:

• High school coursework with a strong interest and aptitude in mathematics and science.
• Associate degree in science or college-level courses in math/science a plus.
• Basic knowledge of the use of hand tools, power tools.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of understanding and effectively communicating with other staff members about all related functions.
• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift to 30 lbs.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Good vision (corrected or uncorrected)
