This is a night shift position ideal for a dependable, self-sufficient professional who can work with minimal supervision. Position Overview We are looking for a skilled operator who can confidently set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a CNC plasma table and Voortman V808 beam line. The right candidate will have solid experience burning structural components (including cutlass bearings and structural shapes) with precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC plasma table and Voortman V808 beam line Perform daily machine start-up, calibration, and preventive maintenance Interpret blueprints and structural drawings accurately Burn and process structural steel components to tight tolerances Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments Maintain quality standards and production timelines Ensure safe operation of equipment at all times Work independently with minimal supervision Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Voortman V808 Proven ability to set up and run CNC plasma equipment independently Solid understanding of structural steel fabrication Experience reading blueprints and shop drawings Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in an industrial environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic What We Offer Competitive pay (DOE) Stable night shift schedule Overtime opportunities Growth potential within a reputable fabrication facility If you are a dependable CNC plasma operator looking for a long-term opportunity on night shift, we want to hear from you.
