Our client in Vinton, IA is looking for multiple Production Workers!

Position Summary: The Production Worker supports the manufacturing of ready-mix concrete, mortar, and related building materials made from raw materials such as rock, cement, and sand. This is a very physically demanding role where you WILL get dirty and dusty while lifting, moving, and handling heavy bags and materials throughout the day. You will work directly on the production line, attaching bags to filling machines, monitoring the filling process, sealing completed bags, and moving finished products while following all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attach empty bags to automated filling machines and monitor the fill process
• Secure, tie, and move filled bags down the production line
• Handle both small and bulk bags of material
• Remove and properly dispose of damaged or failed product when necessary
• Maintain a safe and efficient workflow
• Assist with general production and housekeeping duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, dirty, and dusty manufacturing or industrial environment
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work occasional Saturdays
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team

Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed

Pay:

• $17.00/hour
