Salary: $22.12-23.12

Position Overview

Express Employment is seeking a skilled and dependable Tool and Die Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position will work on either 2nd or 3rd shift, with an initial training period on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in tool and die maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain progressive, transfer, and/or single-hit dies

• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and dies to minimize downtime

• Diagnose tooling issues and implement corrective actions

• Operate manual machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, and surface grinders

• Assist with die changeovers and press setup as needed

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Tool and Die experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring instruments

• Experience working with tight tolerances

• Welding experience (TIG/MIG) is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be willing to train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd or 3rd shift

• Training: 1st Shift

• Permanent Placement: 2nd or 3rd Shift

• Overtime may be required based on production needs
