Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Dorm Security Officer for a residential housing facility in Mason City. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, observant, and able to remain alert during overnight hours while ensuring the safety and security of residents and property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol residential buildings with routine rounds and door checks

• Monitor safety and remain visible, attentive, and approachable

• Provide escorts to residents when requested

• Respond to incidents and complete basic reports and documentation

• Contact emergency services when needed and assist first responders

• Respond to fire alarms, safety concerns, and non-emergency situations

• Observe and report suspicious activity or policy violations

• Maintain organization, communication, and professionalism at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Valid driver’s license required

• Clean background required

• Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight shifts

• Strong communication, reliability, and organizational skills

• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion

• Prior security, residential, or supervisory experience preferred
