Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide sanitation workers to meet daily schedules
  • Train and monitor staff to ensure compliance with SSOPs, GMPs, and safety rules
  • Perform sanitation tasks alongside the team
  • Safely disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning
  • Monitor sanitizer/chemical concentrations and maintain proper storage
  • Keep the facility audit-ready and support internal and external audits
  • Complete required sanitation records and documentation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of progressive sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience leading or training sanitation personnel
  • Ability to lift 30–40 lbs
  • English/Spanish required
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Food safety principles
    • Chemical safety
    • CIP/COP
    • QA, SQF, HACCP, GMPs
    • OSHA, FDA, USDA, EPA regulatory compliance
    • Sanitation operations
  • Ability to perform math functions (ratios, weights, measurements, etc.)
