Income Tax Preparers

Location: Acton, ON
Hours: Monday – Friday, - 9:00am - 5:00pm

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday - 5:00pm - 8:00pm (some flexibility)

*One candidate per schedule*
Pay: $20-22/hr.
Employment Type: Fixed term contract

About the Role:
Express Guelph is hiring on behalf of a well-established accounting firm in Acton, ON for Two Income Tax Preparers.

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:

• Prepare personal income tax, small business, rental properties, farm taxes, capital gains + investments, RRSP's
• Prepare T2's and T3's (experience an asset, but not required)
• Complete accurate personal income tax returns for a diverse client base
• Prepare returns involving small business, rental properties, and farming operations.
• Calculate and report capital gains/losses and ensure proper documentation for various investment portfolios
• Review and input RRSP contributions and withdrawals accurately
• Ensure all returns meet current CRA regulations and firm quality standards

Qualifications / Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role/ preparing all types of taxes desired
• Experience using TaxCycle considered an asset
• Clear communication skills, positive and professional attitude
• Enjoy reviewing and analyzing financial documents with precision and attention to detail
