Position Overview

The transcriptionist will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into clear, accurate written documents. This role requires strong listening skills, excellent grammar, and the ability to work efficiently in a quiet, focused environment. You’ll collaborate with our team to ensure all transcripts meet internal quality standards and are delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio and video files with a high level of accuracy

• Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, clarity, and formatting

• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information

• Meet daily and weekly deadlines

• Communicate with team members regarding project requirements or clarifications

• Organize and manage files according to company procedures

Qualifications

• Prior transcription experience preferred, but not required

• Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation

• Strong typing skills and attention to detail

• Ability to focus for extended periods and manage time effectively

• Familiarity with transcription software or willingness to learn

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site

Schedule & Compensation

• 35 hours per week

• Consistent daytime schedule (exact hours to be discussed)
