Warehouse Lead

Located in Athens, TX

Salary: $19/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeing a Warehouse Lead to join a local company in the Athens, TX area.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily warehouse operations to meet production and shipping deadlines.
• Oversee order fulfillment to ensure accuracy, quality control, and on-time shipment.
• Coordinate shipping activities, including packaging, labeling, and scheduling outgoing shipments.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels; assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to resolve order issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare materials, products, and displays for trade shows and special events.
• Create and manage employee schedules to ensure proper staffing and workflow efficiency.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to warehouse team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
• Identify process improvements and take initiative to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming materials and products as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with inventory management and shipping processes.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and warehouse software preferred.
