A Chattanooga-based job shop is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up, operating, and programming press brake equipment, along with operating turret press and shear machines. Cross-training on additional equipment may be available for qualified candidates.
Set up, program, and operate press brake machinery
Operate turret press and shear machines
Read and interpret measurements accurately (down to 1/16” of an inch)
Perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and layouts
Work with various materials including hot roll, hot roll P&O, stainless steel, brass, and copper
Maintain quality and safety standards in a production environment
Previous machine operator experience required (press brake experience preferred)
Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16” accurately
Strong basic math skills
Experience working with various metal materials is preferred but not required
Starting at $22.00 per hour
