Express Employment Professionals is currently working with several local manufacturing companies looking to add experienced CNC Machinists & Programmers to their teams!

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery, with a strong understanding of G-code, CAD/CAM software, and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes, ensuring proper tooling is utilized for each job.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining processes and tolerances.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions of machined parts.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes through Lean manufacturing principles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the facility.

Skills

• Proficient in CNC machining processes, including experience with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.
• Strong knowledge of tooling techniques and assembly procedures.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency in production workflows.
• Ability to operate various precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.
• Experience with milling machines and other CNC equipment is essential.
• Forklift operation certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
