We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in the Grove, OK area. This role is responsible for the setup and operation of multi-axis CNC machines to produce high-tolerance precision parts for the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Load parts, operate controls, and monitor CNC mills and lathes to fabricate complex aerospace components.
Setup & Calibration: Perform machine setups and adjust tool offsets (under supervision or independently depending on experience level).
Quality Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, and ID/OD gauges) to ensure parts conform to strict blueprints and GD&T specifications.
Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs, including Tie-In Books and electronic checklists in systems like Syteline or Factory Trak.
Maintenance: Perform "Ultra C-Lean" objectives, including deburring parts and conducting autonomous preventative maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years of CNC machining experience (Aerospace experience is a significant plus).
Technical Skills: Ability to read G-Code and interpret complex blueprints/engineering drawings.
Physical: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a standing production environment.
