We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities in the Grove/Vinita area. Your work will ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all employees, visitors, and clients. This is a vital role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of facility care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors across offices, hallways, and common spaces.

• Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and kitchens; restock paper products, soap, and other essential supplies.

• Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins daily and ensure all refuse is disposed of in accordance with facility guidelines.

• Deep Cleaning: Perform heavier tasks such as floor buffing, window washing, and carpet shampooing as scheduled.

• Safety & Security: Ensure all doors and windows are secured after cleaning; report any maintenance issues, leaks, or safety hazards to management.

• Inventory: Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify the supervisor when restocking is needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in custodial, school, or commercial cleaning environments is a plus.

• Physical: Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Reliability: Strong track record of punctuality and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Skills: Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and the safe handling of cleaning chemicals/solutions.
