About the Opportunity
Express Employment Professionals is seeking Entry to Advanced CNC Press Brake Operators for multiple fabrication and manufacturing facilities in St. Louis City and North County. Roles range from production-level machine operation to advanced CNC setup, tooling changes, and programming. This opportunity is offered through Express Employment Professionals in the St. Louis / St. Charles County area. You may be employed through Express or placed directly with a local employer, depending on the role.
What You’ll Do
- Operate manual and CNC press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal
- Read blueprints, bend deduction charts, and production specifications
- Perform setups including tooling selection, die changes, and machine offsets
- Program or adjust CNC parameters for accuracy and repeatability
- Inspect final parts for angles, tolerances, and quality requirements
- Support fabrication processes and maintain a clean, organized workstation
What You Bring
- Experience with press brake operation (entry, intermediate, or advanced levels welcomed)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow precise measurements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to perform math, angles, and measurements accurately
- Ability to stand, lift, and work in a metal fabrication environment for a full shift
Nice-to-Haves
- CNC programming experience (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf, Accurpress, etc.)
- Full setup skills and advanced tooling knowledge
- Experience with other fabrication equipment (shear, laser, roller, punch press)
- Familiarity with TIG or MIG welding
Tools & Equipment Used
CNC and manual press brakes, protractors, calipers, height gauges, die sets, tooling, sheet metal handling equipment, fabrication support tools.
