Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Hospitality Assistant to support a professional caterer at events held at a Fort Pierce Event Center.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation under the direction of the caterer
- Help with event setup (tables, buffet stations, décor placement, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event
- Assist with breakdown and post-event cleanup
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support the catering team as needed during events
Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing, hospitality, food service, or catering experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Team player with a positive attitude
- SerSafe Certification is a plus (not required)
Compensation
- $16–$18 per hour, based on experience
Schedule
- Part-time, event-based (evenings and weekends will be required)
