Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Hospitality Assistant to support a professional caterer at events held at a Fort Pierce Event Center.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation under the direction of the caterer
  • Help with event setup (tables, buffet stations, décor placement, etc.)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event
  • Assist with breakdown and post-event cleanup
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Support the catering team as needed during events

Qualifications

  • Previous dishwashing, hospitality, food service, or catering experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • SerSafe Certification is a plus (not required)

Compensation

  • $16–$18 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

  • Part-time, event-based (evenings and weekends will be required)
