The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently handling steel and other materials within a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This includes loading and unloading trucks, moving materials throughout the shop, maintaining accurate shipping and receiving documentation, and operating material-handling equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
