Join Our Team as an Indirect/MRO Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Indirect/MRO Buyer for a key client in the NCWV region. This dynamic role involves managing the procurement of indirect materials and services for multiple locations, focusing on quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.

What You’ll Do:

• Requisition Analysis: Evaluate requisitions and develop specifications, bids, and agreements.
• Supplier Negotiation: Secure favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
• Strategic Procurement: Implement strategic policies to enhance purchasing processes.
• Cost Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce costs and improve cash flow.
• Sourcing Projects: Identify and onboard high-quality suppliers while ensuring compliance.
• Collaborative Solutions: Partner with stakeholders to resolve commodity-related challenges.
• Order & Invoice Management: Process purchase orders and address invoice discrepancies efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: At least 1 year of procurement experience; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Personality: A self-starter who thrives in collaborative team environments.
