Monday Friday / 7:00am-3:30pm with OT

 

A tile and flooring installation company is seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines sit-down forklift operation, material handling, team supervision, and warehouse administrative duties. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both inside and outside, can manage warehouse flow efficiently, and maintains a positive, team-focused attitude.

Warehouse Lead responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, pull, and stage tile and flooring materials
• Maintain accurate inventory and organized storage areas
• Work outdoors when receiving and staging materials
• Supervise daily warehouse operations and support team members
• Build and develop a productive, accountable warehouse team
• Provide professional customer service in person and by phone
• Answer phones and respond to emails as needed
• Update and maintain spreadsheets and warehouse documentation
• Ensure materials are prepared accurately and on schedule for installation crews

Warehouse Lead Requirements:

• Proven sit-down forklift experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience required
• Proficient with spreadsheets and basic computer systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to balance physical warehouse work with administrative tasks
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
