Express Employment Professionals is working with one of Syracuse's oldest food manufacturers. Our partnership is seeking quality associates interested in food production. This is a long term, full time, permanent position. Hours are 4AM - 12PM(approx) Monday - Friday. Overtime is often available especially during peak season. Pay starts at $18.00

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Portion raw or cooked meat products quickly, accurately and efficiently using a scale.
• Places cooked or raw product in the specified container.
• Prepare packing, labeling and palletizing of packaged products.
• Must follow all rules and regulations set by the company. 
• Work and function in a team environment effectively.
• Make boxes for production, and break down for recycling.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Work in cold room temperatures ranging from 32 - 60 degrees.
• Perform repetitive motion, twisting, turning, bending, and reaching.
• Stand for long periods throughout the day.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Wear appropriate P.P.E.’s as required by the U.S.D.A.
• Work in a team environment.
