Position Overview

The Pressure Washing Cleaning Crew Lead is responsible for supervising and performing exterior cleaning services, including pressure washing, soft washing, surface cleaning, and related tasks. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, maintains safety standards, trains crew members, and communicates with customers while representing the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities

· Crew Leadership & Management

· Lead and supervise a team of cleaning technicians on job sites.

· Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and enforce quality standards.

· Train new team members on equipment use, cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.

· Ensure crew follows OSHA, company, and site-specific safety procedures.

Pressure Washing & Cleaning Operations

· Perform all types of pressure washing: residential, commercial, roofs, sidewalks, building exteriors, driveways, and equipment.

· Operate pressure washers, surface cleaners, hoses, chemical sprayers, ladders, and related equipment.

· Mix cleaning solutions following proper dilution and safety standards.

· Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

 

Customer Service

· Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after jobs.

· Walk customers through final results and address concerns on-site.

· Provide accurate updates to the office on project status and additional service opportunities.

 

Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance

· Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment and company vehicles.

· Ensure all tools and supplies are stocked, clean, and functioning.

· Report damaged or missing equipment promptly.

 

Documentation & Reporting

· Record job details, before/after photos, chemical usage, and time logs.

· Complete job reports and communicate with office or management as needed.

· Ensure compliance with company processes and service standards.

Qualifications

· 1–2 years of pressure washing or exterior cleaning experience preferred.

· Previous leadership or team lead experience is a plus.

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs., handle hoses/equipment, and work on ladders safely.

· Knowledge of chemicals, soft washing methods, and equipment troubleshooting is a plus.
