Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Customer Service/ Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing appointment scheduling, providing exceptional customer support, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and service providers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track WIP from start to completion
- Update ERP data and make corrections
- Maintain Excel reports and production analysis
- Prepare inventory and transaction reports
- Support purchasing, shipping, and general office tasks
- Plan production using MRP and related worksheets
- Create and schedule production and subcontractor orders
- Set up items, BOMs, and routings as required
- Purchase raw materials and issue POs
- Monitor vendor and subcontractor delivery timelines
- Open, update, and close production orders
- Record and audit production data
- Provide daily production status updates
Requirements
- Proven experience in call center environments or customer support roles; previous call center experience is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with excellent computer skills.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on clear articulation and active listening.
- Demonstrated ability to handle data entry accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sales techniques can enhance client engagement efforts.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
