Housekeeping Supervisor (Laundry & Floor Techs) – Tulsa, OK

 

Position Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily operations for housekeeping, laundry services, and floor care teams within a commercial or facility environment. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency while providing leadership, training, and support to staff.

 

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Operations

  • Assign daily cleaning tasks and manage workflow for housekeeping staff.

  • Conduct routine inspections of rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.

  • Train employees on cleaning procedures, chemical safety, and equipment use.

  • Maintain quality standards and address performance issues promptly.

Laundry Department Oversight

  • Supervise laundry attendants and ensure timely processing of linens and uniforms.

  • Monitor linen inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed.

  • Ensure proper operation of washers, dryers, and presses; report maintenance needs.

Floor Care & Tech Management

  • Direct floor techs performing stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, and routine floor maintenance.

  • Ensure correct use of floor equipment and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Maintain schedules for periodic deep-cleaning and floor projects.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain cleaning logs, inspection reports, and supply usage records.

  • Approve timesheets, track attendance, and coordinate staffing coverage.

  • Communicate with onsite management and Express Employment Professionals regarding staffing, performance, and facility needs.

  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and PPE.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping, environmental services, or hospitality.

  • Knowledge of cleaning standards, OSHA safety rules, and chemical handling.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and support multiple departments.

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist with hands-on tasks as needed.

 

Schedule & Pay

  • Full-time schedule; hours may vary based on facility needs.

  • Pay rate determined by experience and client requirements.

  • $40K Yearly 
  • Full benefits after probation period
