Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Assemblers / Truss Builders for a lumber manufacturing facility in Bay Minette. This position is responsible for building quality trusses by following build instructions, assembling materials accurately, and meeting production standards.

Responsibilities

✅ Assemble trusses using lumber, plates, pucks, and hardware
✅ Follow build sheets, work orders, drawings, and material lists
✅ Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools
✅ Ensure products meet quality and production standards
✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
✅ Work with team members to meet daily production goals

Requirements

✅ Ability to read and follow build sheets, work orders, and drawings
✅ Basic measuring skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately
✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
✅ Ability to handle materials and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
✅ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment

✅ Fast-paced lumber manufacturing environment
✅ Requires standing, lifting, bending, and handling materials
✅ Team-oriented production setting
